Let's Talk About It at Castleton University

Good morning,

My name is Mikayla Dambrackas and I am a senior at Castleton University. Upon graduation in May, I will be completing my civic engagement certificate through the university which is an effort to get college students actively serving their communities around them by creating their own project in regards to a societal or community need. My partner, Alex Derosia, and I have put together a project proposal and our main project will be held on Wednesday, April 11th, from 5:30-7pm in the Jeffords Auditorium in the Jeffords Hall on CU's campus. This project is titled 'Let's Talk About It' and is an attempt to get the community engaged in discussion around mental health and illness, and even broader about the Whole School, Whole Community, Whole Child model.  We have a panel of experts in the field coming in to speak and then the floor will be opened up to questions and comments. We believe that families have a huge part in ensuring the overall health of children, so we are asking, if possible, for you to send the attached flyer home via paper or online to the families at your school or to make announcements about it.

It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!
