"Dream, Invent, and Explore"

Proctor Jr.-Sr. High School  is a public school nestled in the heart of the Marble Valley of Vermont. The high school incorporates students in grades seven through twelve from Proctor and the surrounding communities of Ira, Chittenden, Mendon and Rutland Town. Proctor students are very fortunate to have a small student-teacher ratio and yet still have a variety of elective classes. Proctor is best known for its success with our athletic and band programs, as well as placing students in prestigious post-graduate programs and colleges.

Proctor Jr./Sr. High School is in its fourth year of implementing Project Based Learning (PBL).  If you're interested in learning more about PBL, check out the links on the 'Resources' tab at the top of this page.

While there, download a copy of our Vision Document to learn about the innovative changes at PHS.
